My dear friends Melissa Madden & Melissa Blais recently took a quick trip out to Halifax. While there, they reviewed nachos from the Economy Shoe Shop.

With a rating of 8.5 out of 10 joel plasketts I think you should check out the video to view the adequately melted cheese (take note West Town) and the thick & cold sour cream.

Smells Like Shitty Nachos

These nachos were fucking shitty...

I don't even want to break it down they were so disappointing. No cheese, stale chips, 6 black olives not even sliced?
I'm not sure if this food is supposed to be ironic, grunge inspired nachos, really not my thing. Sorry!

Both me and my dining pal agreed, we actually thought about complaining the food was so bad.

So if you're unemployed like me, you're gonna need a cheap nacho fix. What better place then the palace of cheap eats, 711.

One of my favorite things about 711 nachos is that you choose what you want and how much of it you want. Generally a good rule of thumb is to load up as much shit as you possibly can, sure the guy at the counter might get pissed, but don't let his 711 graveyard shift anger harsh your buzz.

The cheese isn't real, it's processed but if you're at 711 you're probably there to refill your vodka slushie anyway and are likely too drunk to notice. KILLLLLLER

Toppings consist of Jalapenos and some other shit i can't remember i was hammered

Lots of Salsa and shit i guess?

Overall i was fucking wasted with pennies in my pocket and walked away with a pretty fucking good drunk walk home meal!

VegEdge Chili = YES PLEASE!

PHEASANT PLUCKER!

So you're in Hamilton and it's Friday and you get a craving for Nachos... what do you do ?

Pheasant Plucker obviously! Its rare to see chili on your nachos but it's even more rare to see vegetarian ones smeared all over the place....

Fuck ya! lets break it down!

Cheese - Standard marble mix, pretty good portion till you get about halfway done. Then it's up to the veggies and the chili to do their part

Nachos - Again, nothing spectacular, pretty standard flavor, probably just tostitos or something

Salsa et at - I love that they give you those nacho dishes with salsa, and sour cream ... no guac though!

Veggies - Good assortment of veggies you'd expect to fine...

Now normally this would be a rather regular nacho plate. Nothing stands out, unless you're a vegetarian and happen to also love chili (ME!) ... the veg chili really stands out as some of the best I've had and put on these nachos it leaves you wanting more ..

However, the chili isn't enough to save the regularness of these nachos, so I'm going to have to give them:

3.5 out of 5 nacho chips.

Sneaks as it's called by the locals, looks like a total dive when you walk in the door. They have those really uncomfortable chairs from school and the tables look like they were found in the dump. But don't let that fool you. WITHOUT DOUBT THE BEST NACHOS I"VE HAD SO FAR!!!

They make them soo fine that even the Vegan Nachos (yup nachos no cheese) taste better then most of the fully loaded nachos i've had at other places...

hmmm... lets break it down!

Cheese - Perfectly portioned blend of Moz and Chedder
Nachos - very tasty lots of flavor not covered in salt.. rather covered in Guac and Sour Cream like good Nachos should be..
Salsa Et Al - Not a huge fan of there salsa but the generous amount of Guac cooked into the nacho cheese, and Sour Cream more then make up for it ..
Veggies - Loads of Lettuce, tomato's, Olives.. perfectly portioned and displayed

All in all 5 Nacho Chips out of 5 ..

note: while drunk the nachos actually taste even better if that's possible but a warning consume no more then one serving ... if you think the decor of Sneaks is bad... try using the washroom..

Dude, these nachos are terrible! So salty, like to the point of inetibility! Nacho Lovers beware STAY AWAY!
Lets break it down...

1. The Nachos themselves were covered in salt, like you could see the salt on your fingers and it burned! FUCKING GROSS
2. The Veggies include Tomato... NO OLIVES?
3. No Gauc! Shity Salsa good portion of Sour Cream though ... WTF?
4. Cheese amount was brutal! To say the top layer was sparce would be an understatement. But underneath that you're basically just eating straight up tortia chips... WRONG!

I didn't even bother to take a picture of these nachos they were so bad.. so instead here's a picture of my pal Matt Kaustation throwin up...

Doesn't seem hard, but so few can get it right. I've wasted years of my life looking for perfect nachos, and this Blog represents my search, my struggle to find them. This is my holy grail, I don't have much ... but I have this... When I eat out and feel the need for Nachos, you'll know about it here. I'll rate the Nachos and let you know where I found them. This is my cause. This is my gift to you...
